Graco saw an opportunity to expand its line of “Pack n’ Play” playards beyond the nursery and living room. The Pack n’ Play Sport was designed for outdoor use at soccer games, parks and the beach. Designed to meet the unmet needs of outdoor users, this project involved researching outdoor products and style expectations to create a rugged, lightweight (aluminum), easy to use design. This design also allowed Graco to grow into new distribution channels, including sporting good stores.
